jo rawlinson

Jo Rawlinson was born Jo Lee Yeager in Blytheville AR January 12 1941. Her interest in art was developed during her high school years. Her teacher during those years was Phyllis Tickle.

After graduation from Messick High School in 1959, Jo enrolled at the University of Memphis and continued her art studies in the University Foundation Program.

From the University of Memphis, Jo continued her art studies and transferred to Memphis College of Art. While at the Memphis College of Art, Jo focusedher studies on fabric and textile design.Major influences during these years were Henry Easterwood and Dolph Smith
